Deliciously Easy

A friend passed along this recipe. I browned the meat last night and threw the rest together in about 10 mins this morning on my way out the door. I met a friend out for dinner but according to my sources, this dish was unanimously approved for consumption by men ages 1-50. It's true. As far as I know, we're the only household on the block who receives direct mail from Similac and AARP in a single day : )

Crock Pot Lasagna

1 1b beef
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese
1 pkg mozarella (divided) 8 oz
1/4 cup parmesan cheese divided
1 egg
2 tbsp chopped parsley
6 lasagna noodles uncooked

Brown meat in skillet, drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
Mix ricotta, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, 2 tbsp parm., egg, and parsley.
Spoon 1 cup meat sauce into crock pot. Top with layers of half each of the noodles, broken to fit, and cheese mixture. Cover with 2 cups of remaining meat sauce. Top with remaining noodles, broken to fit, cheese mixture and meat sauce.
Cover with lid. Cook on low 4-6hrs or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses; let stand covered -10 mins or until melted.
Do not cook on high setting.
